Tegernsee
I've been doing a bit of time travel recently, revisiting places through old photographs that I somehow didn't get around to sharing at the time. And on my most recent trip via my camera roll, I spent some time in Tegernsee. I remember it well - a beautiful Sunday afternoon, Jamie and I catching a train from Munich to this lovely Bavarian town. At just over an hour away, it's a great day trip from Munich. There are no shortage of fantastic day trips to be taken in Bavaria and Tegernsee is just one of them!
Jamie and I visited twice, and these photos were from our first visit. We walked and basked in the warm sunshine by the water, enjoying a hearty Bavarian lunch (read: pork and potatoes) followed by some wonderful gelato. Our next visit was similar, but slightly more active - we went on a little hike (and of course, got some of that wonderful gelato again afterwards!). I hope to visit again someday and go on a boat trip on the water.
