Wardrobe Staples

It's been a while since my last outfit post (and also a while since these photos were taken - ahem...). This is what I wore when I took my mum and dad out for dinner to celebrate their wedding anniversary last month. You may have seen I shared one of these photos on my Instagram; the camera I'm posing with was the first gift my dad bought for mum when they were dating. It lives on my bedroom shelves now, it's a nice prop - but I do want to buy some film and see how it works!

I've had these Next trousers for years (perhaps you remember seeing them here, too) - I loved them so much I bought a second identical pair, which I've been known to do before...! They work with everything, for any occasion - this striped top from H&M is quite casual, but I also love wearing them with a white shirt or an off-the-shoulder top and heels.
