If you caught my previous few posts with Charlotte Tilbury, you’ll know I’ve been incredibly lucky to work with my favourite ever beauty brand. (I know, I’m still pinching myself.) So here I am with the final instalment in this series (and hopefully not the last!); Charlotte Tilbury Skincare.
Being a huge Charlotte Tilbury makeup fan, I was keen to get to know the skincare range more. I was very generously gifted the day and night Magic Creams and the Goddess Skin Clay Mask, as well as some of the products featured in my previous post. I’ve been using these religiously for over a month now, so I’ve got a great feel for the products that I can now share with you.
For reference, my skin is combination-oily, and prone to the odd spot or two. I’m also quite pale (Magic Foundation ‘Fair 2’), which makes redness and uneven skin tone all the more obvious. So over the years I’ve become a real skincare enthusiast, invested in finding the right products to make the most of my skin. And since using Charlotte Tilbury’s skincare products, my skin has been thanking me.
Charlotte Tilbury Skincare Saviours
First up, the cult classic Magic Cream. Oh, how I love the Magic Cream. I had already used several samples of this (always choosing it as one of my free samples when I place an order!), so I knew I loved the texture, smell and how it felt on the skin. So a full sized jar is a dream come true. Formulated with a luxurious blend of hyaluronic acid, rose hip oil, wild pansy extracts and anti-aging BioNymph Peptide Complex, it promises to seal in moisture, lift the complexion and rejuvenate the skin. Rich and creamy without being heavy or greasy, it is absorbed very quickly, leaving the skin nourished and plump with no residue. It also sits beautifully underneath my make-up, providing the perfect base.
Next up, the Magic Night Cream – aka 8 hours beauty sleep in a jar! I have to admit, I didn’t love this when I first tried it – being a creme-elixir formula, the consistency is very thick and quite sticky. However, I soon found that a little goes a (very) long way. I was applying far too much (think waking up in the morning with it not fully absorbed!) but after reducing how much I was using, I found it so much more comfortable to apply and wear. It feels so luxurious and is such a treat to use. When I wake up my skin looks radiant and healthy, and my face feels so smooth to the touch. It’s the product that I never knew I needed.
I’ve been using the Magic Cream every morning and the Magic Night Cream for over a month now and they have definitely done wonders for my skin. My face feels so smooth and supple, and I think they have helped to balance out my combination skin too, as I’ve noticed my t-zone to be less oily.
Goddess Skin
As I type this, I’m wearing the Goddess Skin Clay Mask which has fast become not only one of my favourite products, but also a favourite way to wind down and relax. Promising to lift, smooth, brighten and tighten pores, as well as boasting moisturising properties, this mask packs a serious punch.
I’m lucky that I don’t really have problems with visible pores, but I adore this mask and how it makes my skin feel. Often I find face masks can feel uncomfortable on my skin after a few minutes, when the mask begins to dry and tighten. The Goddess Skin Clay Mask doesn’t dry in, so it sits more comfortably on the skin (and smells truly divine to boot). My skin feels nourished, plump and baby soft, and I find it has a very calming effect – it really soothes and tones down any redness. It’s such a treat to use and has become a firm pamper evening essential. I usually keep the mask on for at least twenty minutes – often longer! – and wash off using a muslin cloth and warm water.
Do you use any of these skincare products? What’s your favourite Charlotte Tilbury skincare product? x

I love Charlotte Tilbury makeup but I haven’t tried skincare from her before, the clay mask sound great though! Especially because at the moment I feel like my skin is being super picky and needs some nourishment.
