Lush, as a store, is a feast for the senses. The colourful creations; the powerful scents; even the textures (I can’t be the only one who enjoys a little dabble!). And their face masks, sitting in the crushed ice-filled sink, is such an inviting set-up. I want to try all of them! Having already ticked off Cupcake (which I loved), this time I opted for Catastrophe Cosmetic. Designed as a calming, soothing mask for sensitive and combination skin, I couldn’t wait to try it out… and I love it!
Catastrophe Cosmetic is such a treat to use. While some masks leave my face feeling a little tight afterwards, with this mask my skin feels noticeably softer, and my usually slick t-zone nice and mattified. Applying the mask is a treat in itself, as it’s straight from the fridge, then curling up for 15 minutes with a book and a cup of tea. The perfect addition to my pamper evening kit… it’s a big thumbs up from me!
Have you tried Catastrophe Cosmetic or any of Lush’s fresh face masks? What is your favourite? x
