The Last of the Summer Dresses
If you follow me on Instagram, you may have spotted this little number before. Strictly reserved for warm, summer days, it is a dress I’ve only wore on a couple of occasions this year. And with said days rapidly fleeting as we approach the autumn, I seized the opportunity to wear it out for one last spin (and a bit of a twirl) the other Sunday when the sunshine showed its face and it was fairly warm, although a little breezy – hellooo wind-swept hair! Sadly it became overcast as the afternoon went on, then the rain began just as we were finishing shooting, but I still got the benefit out of the dress! Now back in the wardrobe you go, little one.
Little one, indeed – I adore the cut of this dress, but it is possibly the shortest garment I own! I paired with leopard print this time – probably the closest I’ll ever get to pattern clashing. The dress is Topshop, shoes by Next and a River Island bag – all from years ago. x
