German stores that the UK are missing out on!

Munich is such a great shopping city. Along with many of the brands we all know and love (hi Zara and H&M), it also has its own German-grown stores which I feel like the UK are missing out on! If you’re ever here, be sure to visit these …

ButlersButlers is packed to the rafters with the loveliest homeware and interior details – and is very reasonably priced to boot. It’s honestly blog-prop-heaven! I really wish we had a Butlers back home.

Douglas. Douglas is a beauty-focused department store. I could spend hours in here (and I think collectively since coming to Munich, I may have). From high-street to high-end cosmetics (and their own range, too), perfumes, skin- and hair-care, it’s got something for everyone.

Galeria Kaufhof. Germany’s answer to the likes of House of Fraser and Debenhams, Galeria Kaufhof has a wonderful range of cosmetics, perfumes, leather goods, stationery and clothing, suitable for all budgets. It also has a grocery department with eateries throughout, and a wide selection of confectionery too!

Saturn. Like a bigger and better Curry’s, Saturn offers a huge range of technology, media and entertainment.

Tchibo. Tchibo is an interesting place. It’s a store and a coffee shop. I’ve only ever had a coffee there (and a very nice slice of cake, too) but they change their stock every week. From clothes, to homeware, to electronics, you never know what will be coming in next.

Oh good stuff! I knew you could get their coffee in the UK but didn’t think their other things were available, isn’t it a great concept?
